A super moist chocolate mug cake made from Youthful living vegan protein powder. It's low carb, high in protein and is ready in minutes. It's a single serving cake recipe that is delicious and satisfying without any of the guilt.
Chocolate Protein Mug Cake
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 2-2½ minutes
2T/30ml Youthful Living Vanilla Vegan Protein powder
1T/ 15ml cocoa powder
1T/ 15ml coconut flour
½ t/ 2.5ml baking powder
Pinch of salt
1T/ 15ml sweetener of choice
¼ cup/ 60ml milk of choice
½ t/ 2.5ml caramel essence
1T/ 15ml Youthful Living protein truffles (Chopped) or dark chocolate chips
2T/30ml soya cream
1t/ 5ml melted chocolate
1 mint leaf
1. Place all the ingredients into a small bowl, whisk together until well combined.
2. Pour cake batter in to a lightly greased mug and microwave for 2.-2½. Your cooking time may vary depending on the power of your microwave.
3. Top your cake with melted chocolate, a dollop of cream and a mint leaf.
