Easter is around the corner and I am starting off the Easter celebrations with a healthy orange smoothie.
Say "goodbye" fat with this fat burning smoothie. I have put together ingredients that have been proven to boost your metabolism and have positive effect on your health. This orange smoothie is refreshing, sweet and slightly creamy thanks to the coconut milk.
Bright orange smoothies are honestly the ideal way to start your day.
Fat burner smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes
½ cup/ 125ml water
1/4 cup/ 60ml full fat coconut milk
1 medium orange 1/2 cup/ 125ml frozen pineapple
1/4 cup/ 60ml grated carrot 1/2 medium apple (chopped) 1/2t/ 2.5ml fresh ginger ½ t/ 2.5ml turmeric powder
Pinch of black pepper
1. Peel orange and cut into segments over the blender to catch any juices. Squeeze out any remaining juices from the membrane of the orange. 2. Combine the rest of the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
If the smoothie has a thick consistency, just add water to thin out the smoothie slightly.
