Valentine's Day is around the corner, say I love you to your loved once with a healthy vegan strawberry milkshake.

Making this milkshake could not be easier, it's literally just tossing in all your ingredients into a blender and blending until the milkshake is thick and creamy.

The vegan vanilla ice cream I used in this recipe, is an ice cream recipe that I have posted on my blog. I have shared a link to the post in the ingredients list below.

One tip I have is, if you don't have time to make ice cream or don't have vegan ice cream available where you live. Don't worry, just freeze some non-dairy milk in an ice cube tray overnight. Add the frozen milk cubes into the blender along with the rest of the milkshake ingredients and just like that you have an easy and quick replacement for vegan ice cream.

Vegan Strawberry milkshake

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 0 minutes

Serves: 2



1 cup/ 250ml non-dairy strawberry milk

¼ cup/ 60ml beetroot juice

1 cup/ 250ml vegan vanilla ice cream

1 cup/ 250ml frozen strawberries

Pinch of salt

1 cup/ 250ml crushed ice

Fresh mint leaves (garnish)



1. Place all the ingredients into a blender, blend until smooth and creamy.·

2. Pour into serving glasses, garnish with fresh mint and enjoy.
